A new study is highlighting the striking differences in the way visitors, residents and commercial fishermen view seals and white sharks on Cape Cod.
Salem State University’s Dr. Jennifer Jackman says the study found tourists really want to see seals and sharks, and care very much about their well-being and consider them an important part of the marine ecosystem.
About 2,000 tourists, commercial fishermen and area residents participated in the study.
