The Falmouth Select Board has filled the town's vacancy on the Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates.
The Enterprise reports the Board appointed Daniel Gessen, a senior at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, on Monday.
Gessen said he plans to attend all necessary meetings in person even as he gets set to graduate next month.
Falmouth Select Board Chairman Douglas Brown resigned from the County Board because the state determined there was a conflict of interest over the distribution of coronavirus relief funds.
