EPA Takes Additional Time To Review Camp Edwards Gun Range

The Environmental Protection Agency is announcing that it is taking additional time to complete its review of a proposed machine gun range on Joint Base Cape Cod.

The EPA stepped in because of the potential impact the machine gun range at the army National Guard's Camp Edwards would have on the regional water supply.

The review was initially anticipated to be completed by this spring, but the EPA now says it will take until the end of the year.
