A public hearing scheduled for Thursday regarding a proposal to run underground electric cables through Falmouth from an offshore wind farm has been postponed.
The Enterprise reports Mayflower Wind is reviewing additional information requested by the town before conducting the Massachusetts Energy Siting Board hearing.
Residents of Falmouth Heights, where the cable would run through, have expressed health and environmental concerns.
A notice will be sent out once the Zoom meeting gets rescheduled.
