Sandwich Police Department are charging a 22 year old man from Forestdale for leaving the scene after he collided with a school bus Friday morning.
Officers responded to the area of Artisan Way and Arline Path during the morning commute for a report of a minor crash involving a school bus.
The bus had 16 students ranging from kindergarten to second grade on board. Police were able to locate the car that fled, a 2013 Gray Toyota Corolla, in Mashpee with front end damage.
All 16 children were evaluated by the Sandwich Fire Department, who worked in cooperation with their parents.
There were no injuries and no children were transported to the hospital.
