A $5,000 cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of an arsonist in Barnstable.
The National Arson Watch reward program is offering up the reward. Barnstable police say on the night of November 21st, officers responded to a car fire in the area of Fresh Holes Road.
While investigating that fire, a second one was reported at a house only a short distance away on Hiramar Road.
Nobody was hurt in either blaze. Police say both fires appear to have been intentionally lit and are being investigated as arsons.
