Mashpee Police Warn Residents About Recent Car Thefts

Mashpee police are telling residents to lock their car doors and to not leave keys inside their cars.

This as police say car thefts have been on the rise in surrounding towns.

They also say thefts are common around this time of year as the holiday season is in mid-swing.

It’s good to remember to check and re-check your doors and put valuables out of view.

Mashpee police say if you notice anything suspicious, report it to your local police department.
