Bourne town meeting voters on Monday overwhelmingly approved a petition directing town officials to oppose a regional wastewater discharge pipe in the Cape Cod Canal.
The outfall pipe would run from the Wareham Wastewater Treatment Plant to the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
The Buzzards Bay coalition says it would reduce nitrogen pollution on Cape Cod.
