Some Cape Cod voters are headed to the polls on Election Day.
Orleans voters will be asked to approve a property tax increase to pay for universal preschool for three-and-four-year-olds, which is expected to cost about a $500,000 annually.
There is also a contested town council race in Barnstable.
Precinct 12 incumbent Paula Schnepp faces challenger Donald Lynde. That precinct represents Marstons Mills.
