Wellfleet Fire Department Respond To Harbor Rescue

The Wellfleet Fire Department says three people and a dog were rescued off Wellfleet Harbor on Sunday afternoon. 

Reports indicate the three local residents were about two miles off the harbor when their nineteen-foot sailboat capsized. 

One of them had attempted to swim to shore for help when rescue crews arrived, while the rest of the group was on top of the sailboat's hull. 

The Wellfleet FD says they were all evaluated for hypothermia, but refused further treatment.
