Cape Parent With Ties To Varsity Blues Scandal Convicted

A parent charged in the varsity blues college admissions scandal who has ties to Cape Cod has been convicted. 

John Wilson was found guilty by a federal jury in Boston of conspiracy to commit fraud and conspiracy to pay bribes. 

Sentencing is set for February. 

Wilson was the head of a private equity and real estate development firm in Hyannis Port.
