A Glock 27 handgun is missing from the Tisbury Police Department; it has been unaccounted for since at least 2019 according to the MV Times.
In a confidential report filed in 2019 by former Tisbury Police Chief Mark Saloio sent to Town Administrator Jay Grande in 2019, former police Chief Dan Hanavan and former Sargent Tim Stobie disagree as to who was last in possession of the weapon.
An investigation by the department did not locate the Glock; the gun has since been entered into the national crime information center as missing.
