Brewster Reveals Price For Sea Camps Purchase

Town officials in Brewster revealed the negotiated price for the Cape Cod Sea Camps Property on Friday night.

The price tag, which will require approval in an upcoming special town meeting and election, is $26-million.

It has not been determined how the 120 acres on Cape Cod Bay and Long Pond would be used by the town, but Brewster Select Board member Mary Chaffee says the acquisition would prevent intensive development, according to a Cape Cod Times story.

The special election is this upcoming Saturday.
