One person was injured in a moped accident on Martha’s Vineyard on Monday afternoon.
The MV Times reports a woman riding a rented moped who was traveling with a group crashed into a curb in Vineyard Haven.
The injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
No citations were issued by police.
The Vineyard is on edge regarding mopeds following a deadly crash last month. Islanders have expressed concerns about the vehicles due to a history of dangerous incidents.
