Southern New England is receiving heavy rain from the remnants of Hurricane Ida.
The upper and mid Cape as well as Martha’s Vineyard were under a tornado warning from the National Weather Service late-night Wednesday into overnight Thursday.
There were no confirmed twisters.
The area remains in a flash flood warning until 8:00 this morning.
Mashpee schools are on a one hour delay. Barnstable Public Schools are operating on a two hour delay.
