The search is continuing for the culprit in the shooting of a man Monday night in Hyannis.
The 26-year-old victim, who was shot in the torso suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Cape Cod Hospital according to police.
The assailant shot several times into the victim’s car in Hyannis and the victim was trying to drive himself to the hospital when he could go no further and was discovered in the area of Main and Sea Streets at about 9:30.
Police say this was not a random act.
