Former U.S. Senate candidate Geoff Diehl has announced a gubernatorial run.
A spokesperson for Diehl’s campaign team has confirmed that Diehl will enter the 2022 election as the only republican candidate so far.
Diehl made the announcement on Saturday at a Fourth of July barbeque in Hadley hosted by the Western Mass GOP Patriots.
He lost his bid for senate in 2018 to current Senator Elizabeth Warren.
