Steamship Authority Addresses Ransomware Attack

Steamship Authority General Manager Bob Davis has publicly discussed the ongoing Ransomware attack for the first time since it began.

In a joint meeting Tuesday morning with the Port Council, Davis said the Authority did not cooperate with the hackers demands. 

However, Davis refused to reveal pretty much anything else about the attack, including who is responsible and how much money was requested in the ransom.

The Authority has mostly recovered, with some systems still down or delayed.
