Martha's Vineyard Massage Therapist Sentenced In Sexual Assault Case

A massage therapist on Martha’s Vineyard is being sentenced to 2 1/2 years in jail on the island after pleading guilty in a sexual assault case.

Sebastian Pattavina entered the plea in Dukes Superior Court on Tuesday to multiple charges, including one count of rape.

Prosecutors said there were five total victims of the assaults at Pattavina's massage business in Edgartown between 2014 and 2018.

He will have to forfeit his massage therapy license as part of the terms of probation.
