Rescuers Respond To Serious Crashes On Cape Over The Long Weekend

Two more serious crashes happened on the upper Cape on Monday after one person died in a wreck over the weekend.

The Falmouth Police Department reports several officers were able to lift an SUV off a 26 year old man who suffered possible life-threatening injuries following a rollover crash on Route 28 at around 2 a.m.

Speed and weather factors there according to police.

In Bourne, rescue crews had to use hydraulic cutters to extract two people from an SUV that collided with a dump truck at the intersection of County Road and Barlow's Landing road yesterday afternoon.

No major injuries were reported in connection to that incident.
