Barnstable Planning Board Meets Tonight On Accessory Dwelling Units

At a Zoom meeting tonight, the Barnstable Planning Board will be taking up the prospect of allowing accessory dwelling units, those in support of the measure say it will help alleviate the housing crunch on Cape Cod.

Stefanie Coxe is an advocate for the measure, which allows for separate living quarters in homes as long as other zoning requirements are met.

Coxe says there is broad agreement on some of the benefits.

The meeting gets underway tonight at 7, a link can be found on the Barnstable Planning Board’s website.
