Sheriff Tom Hodgson is reacting to the news that the Department of Homeland Security has cancelled its I.C.E. contract with the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office.
Hodgson slammed Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, saying he’s “putting his left-wing political agenda above public safety.”
The Sheriff continued on, saying the move was nothing but a “political hit-job”.
Hodgson will be holding a press conference in Dartmouth to further respond to the end of the contract.
