Edgartown Cancels Fourth Of July Parade

Edgartown has canceled its Fourth of July parade and fireworks.

The Select Board voted on Monday. Despite the state's accelerated re-opening plan, officials agreed yesterday that having such a large gathering in downtown Edgartown at that time is too risky.

E-town is one of only six-remaining Massachusetts municipalities still in the "red zone" for highest risk of Coronavirus transmission.
