Governor Baker Extends Capacity Restrictions For Businesses

Governor Charlie Baker is extending the capacity restrictions on many industries in Massachusetts for an additional two weeks.

Baker says the 25% capacity limits for most businesses now runs through at least January 24th.

Baker says acute care beds at state hospitals rose from 67% occupied before Thanksgiving to 83% in the middle of December.

He says only one percentage point has been recovered since the peak.
