Because of the coronavirus surge, starting this Sunday, occupancy rates are lowered to 40-percent in restaurants, retail and many other businesses in Massachusetts.
Those dining out must be masked at all times except when they are actually eating or drinking. Indoor theaters, performance venues and high contact indoor recreation businesses must close.
Governor Baker is also urging everyone to step up their vigilance at work, school and even at home.
Meantime, there are several business owners around the state that have suggested that they will meet with attorneys today to determine whether there are enough grounds in order to challenge the new guidelines in court.
Some owners say the Governor has exceeded his authority.
