A Nantucket man is being charged with Misleading an Investigation into Racist Vandalism at the African Meeting House on the Island.
The Inquirer and Mirror reports Jeffrey Sayle will be summonsed for arraignment at a later date after he was indicted by a statewide grand jury, according to the Cape and Islands District Attorney's office. The incident happened in 2018.
The DA’s office says the grand jury found no probable cause to charge a second, unnamed person.
