Nantucket Sees Spike In Coronavirus Cases

A spike in Coronavirus cases is continuing on Nantucket.

Four more cases were reported on Monday, bringing the total number since the middle of last week to 30, according to a report from the Inquirer and Mirror.

Nantucket had one of the lowest virus transmission rates per 100,000 population in Massachusetts prior to the current spike.

The Nantucket board of health voted yesterday to increase enforcement of Covid-19 regulations at island job sites, since the majority of positives have been tradespeople.
