Police in Harwich responded to reports of a disturbance involving a man reportedly pointing a gun at children.
Harwich police say on Thursday afternoon, the department received a call reporting that a group of kids on bicycles on the bike path along Great Western road appeared to be heckling the residents of a nearby house.
The caller then saw someone exit the home with what appeared to be a rifle.
Officers responded to the scene and located three very realistic looking bb guns - one of the guns resembling an AK-47 style rifle.
No charges have been filed. Dennis and State police provided assistance.
