The town of Bourne has reportedly placed its public works director on paid leave. The Enterprise cites a source familiar with the situation who provided the detail about the action taken against DPW director George Sala. An investigation is reportedly being conducted into the town's public works department and Sala's management of it. The newspaper reached out to Bourne Town Administrator Anthony Schiavi, who said the town does not comment on personnel matters.
