Cape Cranberry Crop May Be Lower This Season

The Cape Cranberry crop may be a bit of a downer.

The weather---hot and dry has a lot to do with that.

Officials with the Cape Cod Cranberry Growers say that there best estimate is now 2.04 million barrels this year.

Mild winter---the vines can out early. The spring was cold and the drought---it is all combining for an increase in production of about one percent over last year.
