Cape And Islands Currently In A Level 2 Drought

The tropical storm didn’t do much good. State officials say because June, July and August have been so dry there is a Level Two drought in the entire state, including The Cape and Islands.

Officials say residents should take every opportunity to conserve water but so far officials are keeping a watchful eye on levels.

Officials say we are between one and three inches drier than we should be.
