Police Reform Bill Committee Meets For First Time

It is a Conference Committee so we don’t know much...but we do know that the Police Reform Bill Committee has met for the first time.

They did so at about 11:30 yesterday. About the only thing they did publicly is to go into executive session to conduct its negotiations.

Among the conferees is Brewster State Rep Tim Whelan.

Technically they have to report a bill by the end of the week to get it done in this session, but there is no one who is expecting that to happen.
