Barnstable County with a downer of a real estate report. And, it is not a complete surprise.
Register of Deeds John Meade says real estate sales in June were down 9.5% from last June.
Total sales were also down 3.7%.
There could be good news in the pipeline. More mortgages were seen year over year.
County wide the median price of a home is 399-thousand dollars.
That is up about 20 grand over last year.
