National Seashore beaches officially open today and with it bring a wide variety of Covid-19 guidelines and restrictions.
Visitor centers and public showers will be closed, however, bathrooms will be open and sanitized on a regular basis.
There will be fewer lifeguards, no programs and historic buildings will remain closed.
Visitors are advised to practice social distancing, including placing beach blankets 12 feet apart, and to wear a face covering.
