Officials at the Cape Cod Transit Authority say they have seen an increase in ridership over the last couple of weeks.
As businesses are reopening people are traveling in the area a little bit more.
Tom Cahir -- the administrator says that for two months they have not been collecting fairs because of the pandemic.
That has now ended and fares are being charged.
And there is more good news in the offing. The Cape Flyer runs will resume on Friday.
