Barnstable Chief Says Local Police Are Well Prepared To Handle Anything

The Barnstable Police Chief says that Cape Cod officers are well prepared to deal with whatever comes their way. It all comes down to how local cops are trained. 

Chief Matthew Sonnabend with County Commissioners saying one advantage they have is that most officers live in the towns they serve. 

He says that is a positive that allows the public and the police to get familiar with each other. 

Meanwhile, 101 new police officers are or soon will be on the streets over the last 12 months with recruits from two separate training classes.
