In Barnstable they are trying to make social distancing a little bit easier so officials say they will make one of the lanes on Main Street in Hyannis only for pedestrians.
Work on the changeover is going to begin on Monday.
Under the plan, the intersections remain normal.
Looks like the area from Barnstable Road to Sea Street is being targeted.
