The monthly report from John Meade over at the Barnstable County Register of Deeds is not all that surprising.
In May of this year sales were down almost 46% and the total value of sales was down almost 47% year over year.
There is some good news.
Property sales went up about 3.5% year over year.
Overall Meade tells us total sales are down almost 14 percent.
The median sales price in Barnstable County is up about 20 grand to $390,000.
