We are hearing from the teen girl who was working at the Polar Cave Ice Cream Shop in Mashpee that was harassed so much by people who wouldn’t socially distance during the pandemic.
The woman was raising money for college.
She is not being named but in a message shared by the owner of Polar Cave she says there are millions of people in the service industry who endure what she did and called it an “overestimation” to think that the crisis would bring anyone together.
The Go Fund Me Page set up will be used for the girl’s college fund.
She thanked everyone for their financial support as well.
