Some 200 thousand dollars in charitable giving is being released by The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod.
150 thousand dollars is being released immediately according to President and CEO Lisa Oliver.
That money will go to the organizations best equipped to help the most. $60,000 will be divided equally between Cape & Islands United Way, The Cape Cod Foundation Strategic Emergency Response Fund, and the Workforce Housing Relief Fund of Housing Assistance Corporation, with each organization receiving $20,000.
The rest of the money will be in the firm of micro-grants that will be distributed through an application process.
