The American Red Cross has postponed their annual Heroes Breakfast which was set for Hyannis.
Officials say they are deeply saddened but will be looking at other ways to honor the heroes of the community later this year.
It had been an annual event since the 9-11 attacks as away to honor those that go beyond for the community.
