A pilot whale found on Little Island in West Falmouth had to be euthanized this week according to the International Fund for Animal Welfare.
A 20 foot pilot whale had come ashore during high tide and apparently beached itself.
A necropsy found no plastic inside the whale.
Officials say there was nothing else out of the ordinary.
