Dennis Selectmen are increasing fines for people who drink on the beach.
Selectmen say it is not a money grab. It is to ensure public safety. Fines from 100 to 300 dollars. In addition officials could revoke your beach pass.
Last year you will recall the town did random cooler searches but the ACLU had an issue with that.
Selectmen say there will be no checks this summer.
