A 32 year old West Yarmouth man has pleaded not guilty to a variety of charges after allegedly shooting his own dog in front of his kids.
James Soares, according to court records had consumed a few alcoholic drinks when he put his gun down on the nightstand and it went off striking the dog killing it.
He will be back in court March 5th.
