Looks like Yarmouth is going to get 100 thousand dollars in the form of a state grant to improve fiber optics in that community.
State Rep Tim Whelan says the money comes from the Community Compact Information Technology Grant Program.
No timetable for the fiber optic improvements. Dennis also gets about 21 grand to set up an electronic permitting system.
