Barnstable County Commissioner Ron Beaty says he is not resigning from the Commission over purported controversial social media comments.
The Commissioner says he was just asking a question when he posted a comment about whether civil war was preferable to socialism.
County Commissioner Candidate Joe Glynn says his resolution for this year is to promote ideas that will allow the county to keep responsible government and ideas.
