The Cape Cod DA says a 39 year old Falmouth man has been arrested in Yazoo, Mississippi.
The DA says William Hayes was arrested by a Fugitive Task Force on a murder warrant in connection with the shooting death of Darrell Russ of Hyannis.
Russ was shot three times on Yarmouth Road in October of this year. About the only thing officials have said was that the incident developed over an altercation.
Rendition proceedings are being scheduled and Hayes will be brought back to this jurisdiction.
