The State Department of Environmental Protection has issued and all parties have agreed to a deal that will allow Vineyard Wind to lay its cable and maintain it about a mile offshore.
The agreement between the Edgartown Conservation Commission and Vineyard Wind.
The document agreed to is so specific that it even stipulates how large boulders can be moved by the company in the most environmentally suitable way.
The plan is for a Wind Farm about 15 miles from the shore.
