It looks like we are going to get an update on the process for a recall provision for Barnstable County. This has been an issue that has been talked about for nearly six years.
In order to adopt it the measure would ultimately have to be approved by the legislature and the governor since it is a home rule petition.
At least one County Commissioner Ron Beaty is on record as calling the move politically motivated. A meeting is set for the Recall Provision Committee this afternoon at 3.
