Vineyard Wind Approval From Feds Not Happening This Year

A lot of people are wondering if the Vineyard Wind project will go forward after word from the Fed that the $2.8 billion offshore project for Martha’s Vineyard will not be approved this year. Officials at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management says it is not yet prepared to rule. Officials say the delay is because the agency wants to measure the cumulative impacts of various other offshore impacts. In a statement this weekend Vineyard Wind says they are still committed to the project and is urging the fed to move quickly through its issues.
